Whether you’re a seasoned sender or trying the sport for the first time, we’re happy to climb with you and eager to show you the ropes (pun intended) if needed. Come join a supportive group of climbers and friends to exercise, socialize, or simply de-stress before an exam. It might not help you pass, but at least you’ll have a fun time!

The Movement in Wriglyville is a bouldering only gym located near the CTA Addison (Red Line) Stop. This is one of two gyms where we have club climbs, and we primarily have comp practices here. From Evanston, it typically takes 40-50 mins to reach this gym.
The Movement in Lincoln Park is a bouldering and ropes gym located near the CTA North/Clybourn (Red Line) Stop. This is the other gym where we host club climbs. From Evanston, it typically takes 50-60 mins to reach this gym.

The Northwestern Rock Climbing Club has a library of ropes, crash-pads, carabiners, nylon slings, cordelette, sleeping bags, gas stoves, canopies and more. We are currently working on getting sport and trad climbing gear!
